Calochortus eurycarpus is a flowering plant in the lily family. It is native to the western states of Montana, Idaho, eastern Oregon, western Wyoming, and parts of Nevada and Washington. It has long, straight stems up to 20" tall that bear 1-5 flowers each. The flowers are white or pale lavender (or rarely pink) May-June. Each flower has a noticeable reddish-purple blotch inside of each petal. White Mariposa Lilies often occur en masse in the wild, creating stunning lily fields.
